Model Y Price and Variants in India
Tesla has launched two variants of its Model Y car in India – one is RWD (rear-wheel drive) and the other is long-range RWD. The starting price of the RWD variant is Rs 59.89 lakh and its on-road price is around Rs 61.07 lakh. If you choose the long-range variant, its price is Rs 67.89 lakh and the on-road cost is around Rs 69.15 lakh. These cars are a bit premium but are perfect for people who like futuristic, eco-friendly and performance-driven cars.
Battery, Range & Performance Details
The rear-wheel drive version of the Model Y comes with the option of two different battery packs — one is a 60 kWh and the other is a larger 75 kWh battery pack. The RWD version has a single electric motor that generates around 295 horsepower. If you choose the 60 kWh battery, you get a range of 500 km on a fully charged car as per the WLTP standard. And if you go for the long-range version, you get a range of up to 622 km. This range is quite convenient for people who like long drives and hassle-free travel.
Self-Driving Feature Expected Soon
