This new bike comes with its fresh design, powerful features, and segment-first cruise control which makes it a premium commuter motorcycle. Starting price has been kept at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom) for Drum variant and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for Disc variant.
Hero Glamour X 125 Design and Looks
The design of the new Hero Glamour X 125 gives a very sporty and bulky feel. Its bold styling is eye-catching at first glance. Edgy curves and creases along with tank shrouds give it an aggressive look. The bike gets a new headlamp setup at the front which comes with H-shaped DRL, and the rear also gets a similar design LED tail lamp. Despite the single-piece seat, there is now more space in it which improves pillion comfort. Wider grab rails and contemporary styling elements give this bike the feel of a modern commuter.
Hero Glamour X 125 Ergonomics and Comfort
Along with the design, Hero has also made several improvements in ergonomics. The wider handlebar is now 30 mm longer which makes the ride more comfortable. With a seat height of 790 mm and 170 mm ground clearance, the bike’s stance feels quite upright and practical. The seat surface area has also been increased by 10% to provide extra comfort to the pillion. Overall, this ergonomics seems to be a balanced package for commuting and daily rides.

For the first time in this segment, Hero has given cruise control feature in a motorcycle, which is usually only available in premium bikes like KTM 390 Duke or TVS Apache RTR 310. The rider can easily adjust his speed by activating cruise control through a dedicated toggle switch. Along with this, ride-by-wire throttle technology and three riding modes – Eco, Road, and Power – have been given that adjust the engine mapping in different riding conditions.
The new Hero Glamour X 125 comes with a colour-changing LCD screen that provides 60+ features including Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and call/SMS alerts. For the convenience of the riders, safety features like USB Type-C charging port, full-LED lighting system and rear panic brake alert have also been added. The braking experience becomes more secure with the Combined braking system.
Hero Glamour X 125 Engine and Performance
This premium commuter is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled BS6 engine that produces 11.4 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. This is the same trusted engine that also powers the Hero Xtreme 125R. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox that ensures smooth gear shifting and excellent performance. Whether you are taking daily city rides or long highway trips, this engine maintains a perfect balance of power and mileage.
For suspension, telescopic forks have been given in the front and a setup of preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers is available in the rear, which makes the ride stable and comfortable. 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres have been used in the bike, which further improve road grip and handling. For braking, disc brakes have been given on the front side and drum brakes at the rear, to which combined braking system has also been added, which gives extra safety and confidence to the rider.

The Hero Glamour X 125 is available in two variants – Drum and Disc. The ex-showroom price of the Drum variant is Rs 89,999 while the Disc variant is priced at Rs 99,999. Talking about colours, the Drum version is available in Matt Magnetic Silver and Candy Blazing Red shades. The Disc version is available in Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Black Pearl Red options.
The bike has a kerb weight of 125.5 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres. These specs are quite practical for the commuter segment and promise performance along with fuel efficiency.
