This growth is mainly due to higher revenues and strong order book. The company received orders of 1 GW during the quarter, taking the total order book to 5.7 GW. This is the 10th consecutive quarter when Suzlon has recorded growth in its order book.

This quarter Suzlon achieved the highest-ever delivery of 444 MW in its history. EBITDA grew by 62.4% to ₹598.2 crore, while margins increased from 18.2% to 19.1%. Benefits of operating leverage and efficient execution boosted margins.

Vice Chairman Girish Tanti said, “The rising demand from C&I and PSU customers and the strong base of repeat orders reflect the trust in Suzlon’s technology leadership and execution capabilities.”

Impact of CFO Resignation on Suzlon Share Price

In an unexpected update, Suzlon announced that Group CFO Himanshu Mody is resigning from his position with effect from 31 August 2025. Mody had played a crucial role in the financial restructuring of the company. The management has said that the appointment of the new CFO is in the final stage.

After this resignation, selling pressure was seen on Suzlon share price in the short-term and the stock closed at ₹ 63.22 per share on NSE, a fall of 0.16%. According to market experts, when a key managerial personnel resigns, investors become short-term cautious.

Nuvama’s Target Price Cut and Reason

Suzlon’s Q1 performance was slightly below Nuvama’s expectations, especially due to low EPC mix, realizations were soft. Nuvama cut its target price from ₹68 to ₹67.

The company’s revenue was 6% lower than estimate despite 55% YoY growth, but EBITDA margin was 19.1% which was much better than estimate of 17.4%. Nuvama has cut its FY26/FY27 EPS estimates by 4% and 1% to factor in ongoing challenges of EPC mix.

Strategic Positioning & Long-Term Prospects

Despite short-term challenges, Suzlon’s long-term outlook is positive. The company’s 30% market share reflects its strong positioning in EPC+WTG capabilities. The rising mix of FDRE/RTC/Hybrid in Government tenders is a big opportunity for Suzlon. Its dual approach in C&I and PSU markets also supports its growth.

Management has a bullish outlook that 60% YoY growth can be achieved in FY26. But installation challenges such as transmission and land issues need to be overcome.
