Allegiant Air to add Burbank to network, Breeze Airways to face direct challenge

On the other hand, Breeze Airways is going to operate flights 5 times a week on the Provo route from March 11, 2026. That is, there is going to be a direct clash between both the airlines on the Provo route.

The move comes as Spirit Airlines is discontinuing this route by October 2, 2025. Spirit has just filed its second bankruptcy protection and is set to exit 11 markets. This has become a big opportunity for Allegiant to attract new passengers by replacing Spirit.
