Earlier, Tata Motors has also decided to give this benefit to its buyers, which includes popular models like Tata Altroz, Tata Nexon, Tata Harrier and Tata Safari. Mahindra is also not backing down and announced a price cut on its flagship SUVs like the Mahindra XUV 3XO and Mahindra XUV700.

Renault says that this decision is a “customer-first move”. Company MD Venkatram Mamillapalle said, “We want every customer to get the full benefit of the new GST rate cut. This step will not only make our cars more accessible but will also energise the demand during the festive season.”

The revised pricing announced by Renault will be applicable on deliveries from 22 September 2025. This day is also the first day of Navratri, which symbolises a new beginning for every household. After the new GST 2.0 rationalisation plan of the GST Council, taxes have been reduced in almost every auto segment. Its direct effect is on car buyers, who they are getting cars at cheaper prices. After Tata Motors, when people saw that the on-road price of the Tata Nexon had now come down, their happiness knew no bounds. Kwid, Kiger, Triber – How much will it cost now?

Renault India has significantly reduced the prices of its top-selling models Kwid, Kiger and Triber. Now their new prices are something like this:

Renault Triber has now become even more affordable. The entry-level variant will now be available for ₹ 5,76,300, which is ₹ 53,695 less than the previous price. The price of the top-end variant has also come down by ₹ 80,195 and will now be available for ₹ 8,59,800.

There is a big saving for Renault Kiger buyers as well. The price of its entry-level variant has gone up to ₹ 5,76,300, while the top variant will now be available for ₹ 10,33,600, cheaper by ₹ 96,395. Earlier its price used to go up to ₹ 11,29,995.

The entry-level variant of Renault Kwid, which is a popular budget hatchback, is now available for ₹ 4,29,900. Earlier buyers had to pay ₹ 40,095 more for this. The top-end variant now costs ₹ 5,90,000, which is ₹ 54,995 less.

This revised pricing is a golden opportunity for families who want a practical, stylish and fuel-efficient car without breaking the bank.
