IPO Action: This week 8 new IPOs and 7 Listings will heat up Dalal Street
The stock market world is always full of new opportunities, and this week investors will once again see IPO action. Despite some consolidation and dull sentiment in the secondary market, the primary market segment is ready to give fresh opportunities to investors. This week starting from 18 August is bringing 8 new IPOs worth almost ₹3,700 crore, in which fundraising of ₹3,584 crore will be from mainboard companies only.
IPO Action: Vikram Solar and Other Big Issues
This time five big issues are entering the Mainboard segment with IPO action. The biggest name is Vikram Solar, which is a leading solar panels manufacturer. The company is going to raise ₹2,079 crore through its IPO. It will have fresh share issuance of ₹1,500 crore and OFS (Offer for Sale) of ₹579 crore. Price band has been decided at ₹315-332 per share.
Along with this, Shreeji Shipping Global, which is an established name in the shipping and logistics sector, is coming with its IPO. The company will come to the market with a fresh issue of ₹410.7 crore, whose price band will be ₹240-252 per share.
Retail supermarket chain Patel Retail will also be a part of the IPO action. The company’s IPO is of ₹243 crore, which includes both fresh issue and OFS. The price band has been kept at ₹237-255 per share.
IPO Action: Gem Aromatics and Mangal Electrical Industries

Gem Aromatics, which makes essential oils and aroma chemicals, is attracting investors. This company will raise ₹451 crore through its IPO, in which there will be a fresh issue of ₹175 crore and 85 lakh shares will be sold by promoters and investor doTERRA. Price band has been fixed at ₹309-325 per share.
On the other hand, Mangal Electrical Industries, which is a specialist in transformer components manufacturing, will launch its IPO on 20 August. The size of the company’s IPO is ₹400 crore, which will be a completely fresh issue. Price band has been decided at ₹533-561 per share.
IPO Action in SME Segment
Not just mainboard, but the SME segment has also brought new opportunities for investors this week. Three new IPO actions are starting here.
Multimedia production house Studio LSD will raise around ₹70 crore through its IPO, whose price band has been kept at ₹48-51 per share. This will be the biggest of the three IPOs.
On the other hand, travel service aggregator LGT Business Connextions will raise ₹28.09 crore through a fixed price IPO. Its price band will be ₹107 per share.
And Kolkata-based welding consumables maker Classic Electrodes (India) will raise ₹41.5 crore through its IPO. Its price band is fixed at ₹82-87 per share.
IPO Action: Excitement of New Listings
Not just new IPOs, investors will also get to see 7 new listings this week. In the Mainboard segment, BlueStone Jewellery & Lifestyle and Regal Resources are grabbing most attention.
Trading of BlueStone Jewellery shares will begin from 19 August on both NSE and BSE. On the other hand, shares of Regaal Resources will start trading from 20 August. As per IPO subscription data, BlueStone was subscribed 2.7 times, while Regaal Resources made a splash with 159.88 times subscription.
BlueStone did not get any special premium in the grey market, but Regaal Resources got almost 25% premium which is a positive signal for investors.
Three new companies are also making their debut in the SME segment. Star Imaging & Path Lab, Medistep Healthcare, and ANB Metal Cast will start trading from 18 August. After that, Icodex Publishing Solutions will list on 19 August and Mahendra Realtors & Infrastructure on 20 August after their IPOs.
